We are thrilled to announce the return of the Heavy Horse to the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show!
Once again the G&S Heavy Horse Village will feature a large purpose-built heavy horse ring – prepare to witness the majestic beauty of these magnificent animals adorned in their decorated harnesses!
The Heavy Horse Village activities will see a range of thrilling competitions on the Wednesday morning, including Heavy Horse Foal, Show Harness, Ladies Cart, Agricultural Turnout and more. Competition will be fierce – you won’t want to miss it!
Then as the afternoon unfolds, the Heavy Horse Ring will transform into a showcase of remarkable demonstrations. There will be a fabulous Heavy Horse Breed Presentation, providing valuable insights into these awe-inspiring breeds.
Finally, the Heavy Horses will of course join the Grand Parade in the main ring.
