Turnpike Showground Campsite

Turnpike Showground Campsite is the perfect location for your Summer 2021 staycation, enjoy rural life with our spacious campsite. 

We are situated in the North Dorset Countryside and despite being a large site we keep numbers on the campsite to a sensible limit to make sure all campers can enjoy nature and have more than enough space for a family BBQ or a game of football. We want you to truly enjoy what is great about the Great British countryside. With the site numbers kept low, we are laidback: it is a non contact check-in with no marked-out pitches so you can pick the spot perfect for you. Whether by the woodland or nearer the toilet block. The campsite welcomes dogs and kids, who are welcome to join you on rambles around the outer stretches of the site to take in the rural views. 

We offer drinking water, toilet block access with separate ladies, gents and disabled along with baby changing. Located just 10 minutes from Shaftesbury and half an hour from Longleat Safari Park with easy access to the A3030 and A350. 

Bookings are available throughout the Summer through pitchup.com and campsites.co.uk.
